Leapmotor sets a second monthly record in a row with 81,569 deliveries

May 2026 brought Leapmotor 81,569 deliveries, 80.99% more than a year before and 14.26% more than April's 71,387, which had been the previous high. Deliveries for January to May came to 263,111, up 51.51%, against a full-year goal of 1 million. The maker, which works with Stellantis through the Leapmotor International joint venture, said its Lafa 5 would launch in 28 overseas markets in June.
