BYD sells 383,453 vehicles in May, with overseas sales up 80.7%

BYD reported 383,453 vehicle sales for May 2026, of which 376,990 were passenger cars. Shipments of passenger cars and pickups outside China reached 160,177, up 80.7% on May 2025. Passenger car sales edged 60 units above the year-earlier level, ending eight straight months of decline. Fangchengbao sold 30,186, Denza about 16,300 and Yangwang 286.
