Svolt starts mass production of a 100 kWh semi-solid fast-charging pack

Battery maker Svolt began series production of a 100 kWh semi-solid pack at Changzhou in Jiangsu province. The cells mix liquid and solid electrolytes, and the company claims 6C charging on a 900-volt system that adds 500 km of range in 12 minutes. Svolt said several carmakers have chosen the pack but did not name them.
