BYD's Yangwang lines up the Gulf for its flagship sedan and a 500 km/h attempt

Stella Li, BYD's executive vice president, has said the Yangwang U9 Xtreme will try to pass 500 km/h on a road in Dubai in November, though no route, permit or date had been confirmed by late October. The car's existing mark is 496.22 km/h, set in Germany in September 2025. Separately, the Yangwang Altior luxury sedan was reported to be heading for a UAE debut around 5 November, without an official announcement.
