XPeng launches the GX six-seat SUV and takes 24,863 orders in 12 hours

XPeng's large six-seat GX went on sale on 20 May in battery-electric and range-extender form, with limited-time launch prices and the Ultra at the top of the range. Upper trims use three in-house Turing chips and a camera-only system with no lidar. By early June the wait for the top electric version had stretched to about 35 weeks. About 1,000 overseas pre-orders had come in, and pre-sales abroad are to start in the Middle East.
