BYD opens its 10,000th megawatt flash-charging station in China
In Shenzhen on 28 August, BYD switched on the 10,000th station of the flash-charging network it announced on 5 March, an average of 55 new sites a day. The network spans 325 mainland cities, and nearly a third of its more than 1.83 million registered users drive other brands. Its newest chargers deliver up to 1,500 kW through one connector, and BYD aims for 20,000 stations in China by the end of 2026.
