BYD's July volume rises 21.76% with a record 179,841 cars shipped abroad

July brought BYD 419,211 new energy vehicle sales, 21.76% above July 2025 and 3.90% higher than June. Overseas passenger car and pickup sales hit a record 179,841, up 124.3%, giving foreign markets close to 43% of the month's volume. The company said a shortage of shipping capacity, rather than demand, was the main brake on sales abroad. From January to July it delivered 969,208 passenger cars and pickups outside China.
